Indonesia's largest tech conference is just about a week away.
One can't miss session will be Tiket's CEO, George Hendrata, who will be speaking at our Main Stage this November 2 after its recent acquisition by e-commerce site Blibli. This exit is poised to set them apart as an e-commerce group offering a one-stop experience to its customers.
While both companies have maintained their own brands, that doesn't rule out the possibility that both brands may one day merge. It'll be interesting to see the impact of this acquisition on the travel e-commerce industry, as well as how the new Tiket will stand up against its biggest competitor, Traveloka.
As everything rises and falls on leadership, it begs the question - how will George shake things up at Tiket?
